Psychology Today & My Best Practice EHR Promo Codes!
My Best Practice (EHR) and Psychology Today promotional codes are at the end of this article. I am a paying-customer and not otherwise affiliated with MBP or PT.
My Best Practice EHR
Choosing an electronic health records system (EHR) can be overwhelming. I spent a ton of time researching how to keep PHI safe and went down more rabbit holes than I’d like to admit. I went back and forth between Sessions Health (friend recommendation), Google Workspace (super cheap but overwhelming to make 100% HIPAA-compliant), and everyone’s beloved/hated Simple Practice (popular but pricey).
I finally went all-in with My Best Practice after doing their live-demo and am liking it a lot. I love (and need) the automatic features. Once I configured my settings, adding new clients is a breeze. Intake packets and portal invitations pretty much send themselves. Superbills are automatically issued as soon as an appointment ends. And scheduling, starting telehealth sessions, and collecting payment is easy-peasy with PaySimple. My favorite MBP features include evidence-based, customizable clinical note templates and client assessments like the GAD (and many more), which can be completed directly in a client’s portal. For the first time ever, I am actually excited about client notes and treatment planning. It’s quite possible I’m learning more from the note-taking tools than I did 20 years ago in grad school. At $39 + $20 for telehealth per month, I know I’m getting my money’s worth.
I didn’t know MBP existed until I found this review, Best Mental Health EHRs of 2025. I recommend reading it if you are looking for an EHR system. Below is a link to a free MBP trial. If you sign up, you’ll also get 3 months free.
EHR Update: I’ve used MBP for 1.5 years and am still happy with it. Their customer service is excellent—quick to respond and genuinely helpful.
