COUNSELING FEES
15-minute consultation — Free
A brief phone or video conversation to ask questions, talk about what you're looking for, and see whether working together might be a good fit.
70-minute initial session — $150
Your first session gives us more time to get to know each other, talk about what brings you to therapy, and begin understanding what you’d like to be different.
50-minute counseling session — $150
Ongoing individual counseling sessions are 50 minutes.
INSURANCE
I’m an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance companies directly.
If your insurance plan provides coverage for out-of-network therapy, you may be able to receive reimbursement for a portion of your session fee. I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company.
Because insurance plans vary, I recommend contacting your insurance company before beginning therapy to find out whether your plan will reimburse you for seeing a counselor who is not in your insurance network.
You can ask:
Does my plan cover counseling with an out-of-network counselor?
Do I have an out-of-network deductible? If so, how much is it, and do I need to meet it before my insurance will reimburse me?
How much will my insurance reimburse for a 50-minute therapy session?
What will I be responsible for paying?
Is there a limit on the number of sessions my plan will cover?
Do I need a diagnosis or other documentation to receive reimbursement?
Your insurance company determines whether and how much they will reimburse you. I cannot guarantee reimbursement.
A NOTE ABOUT COST
I know starting therapy is an investment of your time, energy, and money.
My hope is that what you gain from therapy extends beyond our sessions—a deeper understanding of yourself, greater confidence in how you navigate your life and relationships, and meaningful change you can carry with you.
